Doncic also grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out 10 assists for yet another triple-double. However, he committed 8 costly turnovers in the closely fought contest. Former Knicks cornerstone Kristaps Porzingis added 28 points, including 4 three-pointers, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks in his first game against his former team. Dallas, his new team, absorbed their third loss against 5 victories. New York was led by off-season free agent acquisition Marcus Morris, Sr. with 29 markers on a 10-for-22 field goal shooting, including 4-for-8 from deep, to go along with 9 boards, 3 assists, and 1 steal.
