NBA Daily: Green Adds to Golden State's Injury Woes, as Spurs Keep Warriors Winless in San Francisco 127-110

PhilBoxing.com

Tagbilaran City, Bohol – Just hours after learning that two-time league MVP Stephen Curry would be out for at least three months due to a broken left hand, Draymond Green compounded matters for the Warriors when he injured his left index finger during Golden State’s 127-110 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, Friday night (Saturday morning, Philippine time) at the jampacked Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

Patty Mills scored a game high 31 points, including 6 three-pointers to go along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal for San Antonio, off the bench. LaMarcus Aldridge added 22 markers and 8 boards for the Spurs, who bounced back from a loss to the Clippers the night before. The Spurs are now 4-1 on the win-loss column.

D’Angelo Russell topscored for the Warriors with 30 for the Warriors, who are still yet to win in San Francisco and dropped to a 1-4 record.

The Spurs will travel back home to host the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night (Monday morning, Philippine time).
