Ken Jordan Blasts Out Gandionco to Win ABF Super Bantam Belt

PhilBoxing.com

MANILA, Philippines -- Gensan knockout specialists Ken Jordan (8-1-2, 7 KO's) blasted out Macrea Gandionco's mid section to capture the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) Super Bantamweight Belt Sunday evening, August 25, at the TV5 Studios in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Far more resourceful and confident, Jordan, 21, rocked down Gandionco half way thru frame two, though the strong Misamis Oriental warrior stood up to the count of veteran third man Virgilio Garcia, pressing the action against Jordan, propelling furious exchanges.

The climax came about when a crushing perfectly-placed bomb thrown by Jorden ravaged Gandionco's mid section, sending him down to the canvas in excruciating pain neaby Jordan's red corner.

Gandionco (13-9-3, 8 KO's) wearing black trunks just could not stand up from that explosion, the referee reaching number 10 with the combatant still on the floor, struggling for air, trying to recover.

Both men had scaled-in at 120 pounds the day before.

In conclusion, fans witnessed another quick stoppage win for Ken Jordan, a promising super bantam who feels ready for more challenging missions.

In attendance watching the title combat was Asian Boxing Federation President Naris Singwancha, GerryPens promoter champion Gerry Pe?alosa, former GAB Boxing Chief Dr. Nasser Cruz, Highland Boxing promoter Brico Santig, matchmaker Art Monis, popular veteran man of boxing Gabriel "Bebot" Elorde, GAB official Eduardo Coronel and fight supervisor Rafael "Ralph" Dioknos.
