ROLLY MATSUSHITA COLLIDES WITH HUMMER!

OPBF bantamweight champion Rolly (Lunas) Matsushita will defend his title for the third time against Indonesia's Aldo Hummer on January 27 in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan.
The Tabaco City-raised Matsushita, who adopted his new name last year after his Japanese sponsor, had won the OPBF crown over Malcolm Tunacao early last year, and defended it against Thai and Japanese challengers.
Now vastly improved as a fighter, Matsushita attended the recent WBC Convention in Manila and asked the organization's bigwigs for a crack at WBC bantam champ Hozumi Hasegawa.
A win over Hummer will hopefully give him a ticket for that bout.
