NBA -- Blazers sink Rockets to 1-5 slate

HOUSTON -- The Houston Rockets sank to last place in the Western Conference on Tuesday night as the Portland Trail Blazers scored a one-sided 104-85 victory at the Toyota Center.
It was the Rockets' fourth straight defeat and they fell to 1-5, sharing last with the Phoenix Suns.
"It's a classic year and year struggle. But we just gotta get out of it. We'll keep fighting and keep the spirits up. These guys are good guys and like what I said, we'll find something and hopefully it's not too late. But we gotta get back on the horse and we gotta get James back that's a big part of out offense. Rockets Coach Mike D'Antoni said.
Damian Lillard and Jusuf Nurkic both led Portland's scoring with 22 points each. Nurkic also finished with 10 rebounds while Lillard tallied seven assists. CJ McCollum also added 19 points, a pair of assists and four boards for the Portland Trail Blazers
Chris Paul was the main man for the Rockets with 17 points and nine assists while Clint Capela had 14 points and 14 boards. Eric Gordon added 12 points..
The Rockets will face the 2-5 Nets in Brooklyn on Friday Nov 2.
