TEPORA GETS WARM CEBU WELCOME AFTER TITLE WIN IN MALAYSIA

CEBU CITY. Cruising above 20,000 feet onboard Air Asia Z2 7111 from Kuala Lumpur to Cebu City, undefeated WBA featherweight champion Jhack ?El Capitan? Tepora was all smiles when the beautiful cabin crew extended heartwarming felicitations in behalf of the captain and the overly enthusiastic 170 passengers.
?Congratulations Champ Jhack! Thank you for showing the world no matter where a Filipino will be, he will always be a fighter!? said the flight attendant.
Upon arrival at the newly-opened Mactan International Airport Terminal 2, his wife Dina Tepora led an awestruck throng of fans, family and friends. Tepora graciously granted photo-ops to many of those whose shared the unadulterated pride of standing next to the new WBA featherweight king. A loud caravan of drums awaited the champion, escortinghim to his official press conference in Cebu City;
?The feeling is inexplicable as it has been always been my dream to become a world champion! I am hoping to fight again before the year ends!? Tepora told the author right after he won his match over Edivaldo Ortega. Tepora improved to an unblemished 22-0-0 slate with 17 KOs victory at Axiata Arena on Sunday July 15, 2018 to co-main card of the Fight of Champions.
