Five titles will be at stake this Friday, Nov. 10 at the Princesa Garden Island Resort in Palawan as the highlight of the 55th OPBF Annual Convention which will run from Nov. 9 to 12 in the country's premier tourist destination.

Fighting for the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver flyweight title are Carlos Ceasar ?Too Sharp? Pe?alosa from the famous Pe?alosa boxing clan who will go up against Salatiel Amit of Cebu's Omega Gym. The southpaw Pe?alosa (9-1-0) is the nephew of 2-time world champion Gerry Pe?alosa and 2-time world champion Dodie Boy Pe?alosa Sr who acts as his trainer. Amit's record is 10-wins, 3-losses and 2-draws but two of those losses were coming from title contenders Froilan Saludar and Jonathan Taconing. This is an important matchup for two up-and-coming Filipino fighters.

For the interim OPBF featherweight title, Jilbert Gomera (12-4-0, 6KOs) of General Santos will face undefeated visiting Omrri Boliver from Venezuela (5-0-0, 3KOs).

Two women title fights are at stake. For the vacant OPBF Female bantamweight title, Yuko Henzan (5-6-3, 2KOs) of Okinawa, Japan will face Phannaluk Kongsang (2-3-0, 1KO) of Thailand. Kongsang previously fought in Mandaue City against Hawaii's Casey Morton where she lost by decision. For the Interim OPBF minimumweight title, Erika Hanawa (7-1-0, 2KOs) of Tokyo, Japan takes on Sornsawan Khunmarn (2-4-0, 1KO) of Thailand.

Also on the card is the 12-round ABF flyweight title fight between Jeronil Borres (7-3-1, 5KOs) of Cagayan de Oro City and Robert Ongcogan (9-2-0, 5KOs) of Bi?an, Laguna and the 8-round super flyweight battle between Ryan James Racaza (7-0-0, 4KOs) of Caloocan City, Metro Manila and Junar Adante (7-7-1, 4KOs) of Valenzuela City, Metro Manila.

The OPBF consists of boxing bodies from Australia, Fiji, Guam, Hawaii, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, New Zealand, Republic of China, Samoa, Thailand, Tonga and the Philippines.
