T-MOBILE ARENA, LAS VEGAS -- In second TV fight on the undercard of the CANELO ALVAREZ vs JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ JR 164.5 lbs Catchweight Showdown, Lucas Matthysse (38-4-0, 35KOs) of Buenos Aires, Argentina poured it in the 5th round to stopped Emmanuel Taylor (20-5-0, 14KOs) of Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland in their 10- round scheduled welterweight contest. Matthysse sent Taylor to the canvas in 5th. Taylor stood up to beat the count the referee waived off the fight at 2:21 of the fifth round.
