By Homer D. Sayson PhilBoxing.com Tue, 25 Apr 2017

CHICAGO -- The Golden State Warriors made quick work out of the Portland Trail Blazers, scoring a 128-103 Game 4 rout for first-round series sweep, 4-0.
The Warriors jumped to a 25-5 lead and scored 45 first quarter points, silencing the Moda Center crowd. Golden State took a 72-48 halftime lead and coasted to 106-80 entering the fourth quarter.
Steph Curry had 37 points to pace the Warriors while Draymond Green collected 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Klay Thompson added 18 and Golden State advanced to the Western Conference semifinals where they will play the winner of the Jazz-Clippers match-up.
"That was unbelievable. Our guys were locked in on both ends of the floor. I wish I could say this one thing or that one thing was really good but everything we tried to do, we tried to do it on a high level. It was fun to watch. Fun to be a part of it," said Warriors assistant Mike Brown who sat in place of the ailing Steve Kerr.
Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 34 but his backcourt tandem, CJ McCollum, struggled with just six points on 2-for-12 shooting.
HAWKS 111, WIZARDS 101. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks stormed back to a series tying win on Monday night, beating the Washington Wizards, 111-101, in Game 4 of their series at the Philips Arena.
Seven Hawks scored double figures in points with Paul Millsap leading the way with 19. Dennis Schroder added 18 while Dwight Howard and Kent Bazemore chipped in 16 apiece. Howard also had 15 boards.
Bradley Beal was the main man for the Wiz with 32 while John Wall finished with 22 and 10 dimes.
Steph Curry celebrates the Warriors' sweep of the Blazers following a 123-109 Game 4 rout.
