NBA PLAYOFFS -- Rockets seize Game 1 over Thunder

HOUSTON -- In perhaps the most anticipated playoffs match-up, a battle between two MVP contenders, James Harden and Houston Rockets bested Russell Westbrook and the Houston Rockets, 118-87.
James Harden led all scorers with 37 points while dishing 9 dimes. Four other Rockets logged double figures in points at the Toyota Center --- Patrick Beverley (21), Nene Hilario (15), Clint Capela (14) and Lou Williams (11).
Westbrook fell shy of a triple-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Andre Roberson came in with 18 points while Jerami Grant addede 10 for Oklahoma which made only 30 of 81 shots for 37 percent.
Game 2 of the first-round best-of-7 affair returns to the Toyota Center on Wednesday night (Thursday AM in the Philippines).
