Just hours ago, Top Rank Promotions in cooperation with Bash Boxing and Unimas SoloBoxeo returned to the San Fernando Valley with their Valley Fight Night Series. The event was held at the iconic Sportsman Lodge at Studio City.

In the main event (top photo), Los Mochis, Mexico native, Jose Felix Jr (35-1-1, 27 KO) worked only less than 9 minutes to win his third fight for 2016. Felix dropped Alan Herrera of Mazatlan, Mexico (38-8-0-22KO) in early in round three and then when on to swarm Herrera after he took an eight count, leading referee Raul Caiz, Sr to stop the fight at 1:42 of round 3.

In the supporting main event, two-time former Ukraine Olympian, Egidijus Kavaliauskas (15-0-0, 12 KO) had to muster everything he learned from his previous 14 fights to win a very close unanimous decision over a Filipino-Hawaiian journyman, Cameron Krael ( 8-12-2,1KO) of Las Vegas. Karel was supposed to lose bad but somebody forgot that Filipino blood runs thick in his vain and he is not about to take a knee nor lay flat on his back. Krael badly marked the white face of the Ukrainian and made his nose bleed from the early rounds. In the end however, Kavaliauskas was declared the winner with all three judges scoring an identical 77- 75.

The other results:

Maxim Dadashev (4-0-0,3 KO)of Russia who fights out of the Riobert Garcia Gym in Oxnard, CA outpointed Eddie Diaz ( 2-6-2, 0KO) of Los Angeles . Scores were 60-54, 60-54 and 60-53.

Alejandro Guerrero (2-0-0-1) of Irving, Texas fought an exciting four rounder with Manuel Lopes (1-3-1,1KO) of Phoenix, AZ winning by UD with all scores being 39-37.

Ryan Garcia (5-0-0-3 KO) beat Mario Aguirre (2-5-0,2KO) of Chula Vista. Aguirre was so bear up his corner advised the referee before the start of Round 3 that their boy has had enough.

Rudy Macedo (3-0-0,3KO) of Montevideo, Uruguay stopped Hugo Padilla(4-9-0-2KO) of Agua Caliente, MX) at 1:56 of round 2

Alberto Fundadora (9-0-0, 5KO) of Coachella, dropped Tommy Turner (5-6-0-3KO) of Payette, Idaho twice in round 2 and the referee stopped the fight at 1:32 of round 2.
