BOXING ON PHILIPPINE TELEVISION

There will be a slugfest on television this weekend as ABS-CBN Sky Cable will telecast the IBF flyweight title fight between hard-hitting champion Johnreil Casimero of the Philippines and unbeaten Charlie Edwards of England as well as the showdown between Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook from the O2 Arena in London beginning at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday of Sky Cable pay-per-view.
Solar Sports Paolo Diaz informed us that Solar will air the Golovkin-Brook fight at 12 noon on Sunday and the WBC super flyweight battle between pound for pound No.1 and unbeaten Roman ?Chocolatito? Gonzalez against WBC champion Carlos Cuadras the following week.
Viva Sports top-rating weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? will telecast the IBF super flyweight title fight between MP Promotions Jerwin Ancajas and Puerto Rico?s McJoe Arroyo at 8:30 p.m. over Pinoy Box Office/Sky Cable at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday with a replay at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
