RAMON PE?A IS THIRD MAN IN THE RING FOR PUNGLUANG-TAPALES TITLE FIGHT

BANGKOK, Thailand ? Puerto Rican referee Ramon Pe?a will be the third man in the ring on the Pungluang Sor Singyu-Marlon Tapales WBO world bantamweight title bout this Wednesday at the Ayutthaya Historical Park north of Bangkok. Pe?a recently refereed two world championship bouts in Juan Francisco Estrada vs Hernan Marquez for the WBA/WBO flyweight titles on Sep. 26, 2015 in Sonora, Mexico and the fight of the year candidate WBO world super bantamweight bout between Nonito Donaire Jr and Cesar Juarez which took place in Puerto Rico on Dec. 11, 2015.
The judges assigned to the fight are Lisa Giampa of Las Vegas, Chris Tellez of New Mexico and Gerardo Martinez of Puerto Rico. The supervisor is Thailand-based WBO Vice-President for Asia-Pacific Leon Panoncillo Jr.
