WBO DOUBLE-HEADER: WEIGHTS FROM TOKYO By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Sun, 12 Jun 2016 ![]() Tokyo--The four protagonists for tomorrow's double World Boxing Organization (WBO) female world title bouts breezed through the official weigh-in at the offices of the Japan Boxing Commission today in advance of the title bouts tomorrow at the famed Korakuen Hall here. Reigning WBO bantamweight women's titlist Naoko Fujioka came in at a trim 117.5 lbs, while compatriot/challenger Go Shindo of the Green Tsuda Gym checked in at 117 3/4 lbs at the official weigh-in supervised by WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo and witnessed by media and WBO/JBC officials. Referee for this bout will be Katsuhiko 'Made in Japan' Nakamura, while judges tasked to pen this bout are Takeo Harada (Japan), Danrex Tapdasan (Philippines) and Salven Lagumbay (Philippines). In the co-featured world title go, reigning WBO atomweight champion Nao Ikeyama of Future Gym tipped the scales at 100 3/4 lbs, while challenger/compatriot Saemi Hanagata came in at 101 3/4 lbs. Referee is Danrex Tapdasan (Philippines) while judges are Takeo Harada (Japan), Salven Lagumbay (Philippines) and Surat Soikrachang (Thailand). Both world title bouts will be supervised by WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo.
