STUBHUB CENTER, CARSON, CA -- Hard punching and undefeated featherweight Jorge Lara (28-0-2, 20KO) of Guadalajara, Mexico sent grizzled veteran Fernando Montiel (54-6-2, 39KO) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico to the canvas four times before Referee Ray Corona waived off the contest at 1:37 of the first round in their 10-round scheduled featherweight bout on the undercard of the Vitor Ortiz vs Andre Berto here Saturday night.
