Bhakdibhumi. He mentioned how Sulaiman?s father and former WBC President Don Jose had the honor to have a private audience with His Majesty the King of Thailand, who entrusted WBC with the promotion of Muay Thai on November 22, 2001. ?Muay Thai is a sport that his late father Don Jose Sulaiman held close to his heart,? said Gen. Bhakdibhumi. The younger Sulaiman, on the other hand, expressed his appreciation for WBC Muay Thai for establishing an organized and unified body and taking into consideration the spiritual aspects and safety. ?Muay Thai is not only a martial art but an integral part of the Thai way of life,? said Sulaiman, who also gave the awards to the outstanding boxers, managers and promoters in WBC ABCO.
