NBA -- Curry?s triple-double lifts Warriors over Pacers
By Jason Aniel PhilBoxing.com Sun, 24 Jan 2016

OAKLAND --- To the delight of the hometown crowd at the Oracle Arena, reigning MVP Steph Curry returned from a three-game road trip and served a triple-double to lead the Golden State Warriors over the Indiana Pacers.
Curry finished with 39 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds as the Warriors dispatched the Pacers, 122-110. Curry shot 11 of 19 from the field, nailed 8-of-15 triples and highlighted his brilliance with a buzzer beating half court shot to end the first half.
Also on Friday night, Curry was voted in as a starter for the 2016 Western Conference All-Star Team.
Draymond Green, a likely first time All-Star selection, also filled up the box score with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists. The Warriors were in complete control of the game from the start. They opened the game with a 14-point lead and never looked back.
Pacers All-Star Paul George, had a quiet night for Indiana, scoring only 12 points on 5-15 shooting from the field. Instead, it was rookie, Myles Turner, who carried the Pacers off the bench with 31 points and 8 rebounds.
The game also marked the return of head coach, Steve Kerr, who made his season debut on the sidelines, after missing the first 45 games of the season with complications from a back surgery he had over the summer.
Tonight?s win marked the Warriors? final game against a Central Division opponent this season. Each of the Dubs? last four games has been against a Central team, and the Warriors are 8-2 against the division this season.
The Warriors, 40-4, now look ahead to Monday when they take on the toughest challenge of the season so far in the San Antonio Spurs.
The Pacers, 23-20, have a quick turnaround as they wrap up their four game road trip in Sacramento against the Kings Saturday night.
