MELLIGEN TKO'S NODA!

In Tagbilaran City, RP junior welter king Mark Jason Melligen of the ALA Gym scored a seventh-round TKO over challenger Jury Noda to retain his title last night in their scheduled 12-rounder at the Island City Mall carpark.
It was Melligen's first title defense.
"Melligen has now improved his style. He now knows how to correctly pace himself, and time his punches. Very seldom would his punches not hit the target, so Noda had to give in," said a source from ringside.

Leon Maratas won by TKO start of 7th rd against Ronald Postrano
Joseph Omanz won by TKO 2:33 in the 1st rd. against Arnel Layson
Nicolas Banal won by Unanimous Dec. over 8 rds against Tiny Tyson.
Federico Catubay won by Unanimous Dec. over 8 rds against Roy Doliguez
Carlo Magale won by TKO start of the 2nd rd against Jun Intor
Ricky Sismundo won by Unanimous Dec. over 8 rds against Rolando Econas.
Gil Melliguen won by Unanimous Dec. over 6 rds against Romano Gelig.
