By Mark Josef PhilBoxing.com Mon, 19 Oct 2015

TORONTO - The Toronto Raptors edged out Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night at the Air Canada Centre, 87-81.
Kevin Love was back on the court for the first time after an injury that sidelined him for most of the post season last year. Love started and played for 12 minutes contributing 6 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
At the post game interview, Coach David Blatt alluded that he intends to play Love in 6 minute stretches at a time during this preseason.
The Cavaliers were without superstars' Lebron James and Kyrie Irving in Sunday night's action, but .without them, the Cavaliers managed to top the Raptors at halftime, 42-41.
A fourth quarter surge from the second unit headed by Toronto native Cory Joseph helped the Raptors take over the lead midway thru the quarter. Cory Joseph finished with 11 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds to help Toronto to victory.
Jonas Valanciunas led the Raptors with 12 points and 4 rebounds while Mo Williams had 13 points and 7 rebounds for Toronto.
Toronto plays its next preseason game in Montreal on Friday against last year's playoff rivals Washington Wizards at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
