2015 NBA Finals -- Warriors clock Cavs, 103-82, tie series at 2-2

PhilBoxing.com

CLEVELAND -- Facing the toughest test in their record-breaking season, the Golden State Warriors answered the bell on Thursday night and mauled the Cleveland Cavaliers, 103-82, in Game 4 of the 2015 NBA Finals at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Starting for the first time in 101 games, All-Star Andre Iguodala hit 8-of-15 field goals and finished with 22 points to help the Warriors even the best-of-7 series at 2-2.

Having now regained home court advantage, the Warriors will host Game 5 this Sunday (Monday Manila). Game 7, if necessary, will also take place at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on June 19 (June 20 in Manila).

After being shackled by Cleveland's defense the last three games, the Warriors offense finally showed the form that made them win 67 regular season games while averaging a league-best 110 points per.

Golden State shot 46.8 percent from the field (36 of 77) and 40 percent from 3-point range (12 of 30). The Warriors also went 19 of 27 from the free throw line.

Draymond Green and Harrison, who had both been struggling in these Finals, sparked the Warriors with a combined 31 points. Barnes went 4-for-9 while Green shot 6-for-11. They also combined for 15 rebounds.

MVP Steph Curry registered 22 points while David Lee had another solid outing, scoring nine points and grabbing five rebounds off the bench.

Timofey Mozgov led the Cavs with 28 points and 10 boards. LeBron James, who suffered a cut on his head after ramming into a baseline camera, missed 15 of 22 shots and settled with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists.

The Cavaliers failed to cash in a chance to go up 3-1 in the series by shooting a miserable 33 percent from the field (29 of 88), including a stinky 4-for-27 (14.8 percent) fare from long distance.

After a heroic Game 3 effort, Matthew Dellavedova fell back to earth with 10 points on 3-for-14 shooting. Tristan Thompson strung together a nice effort with 12 points and 13 rebounds but J.R. Smith was ineffective with four points, going only 2-for-12 from the field and 0-for-8 from 3-point range.
