NBA Playoffs -- Cavs take control, leads East Finals, 2-0

ATLANTA -- The Cleveland Cavaliers moved two games away from returning to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007.
LeBron James scored 32 points to lead the Cavs to a decisive 94-82 Game 2 win that handed Cleveland a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Atlanta Hawks in their best-of-7 Eastern Conference Finals.
James, who rattled in 10 of-22 field goals, also grabbed issued 11 assists and grabbed nine rebounds as the Cavaliers pocketed both Games 1 and 2 at the Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta.
Iman Shumpert followed LeBron's lead and pitched in 16 points while Matthew Dellavedova, starting in place of the injured Kyrie Irving (left knee tendinitis), stepped up with 11 points and four assists.
The Cavs shot 43.4 percent from the field (33 of 76) and 40 percent from 3-points range (12 of 30). After a tight first half which ended at 54-49, Cleveland built an 84-66 advantage heading into the fourth and final quarter.
Atlanta made on 33 of 79 field goals and missed 21 of 26 above the 3-point arc. Atlanta was outrebounded 47-39 and dished two fewer assists than Cleveland's 17.
Dennis Schroder led the Hawks with 13 points while Al Horford, Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver each had 12.
The Cavaliers go for a 3-0 series when the series shifts to the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on Sunday night (Monday AM in Manila).
