MAYWEATHER'S MICHIGAN BOXING TEAMMATE NOW PEDDLES ART IN HOLLYWOOD, PAINTS PACQUIAO AS AN ANGEL

LOS ANGELES ? A man who claimed to be Floyd Mayweather's boxing teammate in the Michigan National Boxing Team before the 1996 Atlanta Olympics is now peddling his art in the heart of Hollywood and has painted images of Manny Pacquiao as an angel and Floyd Mayweather as the king of boxing.
Antoine Dont'e William Pitts claimed a spot at the busy corner of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave where he displays his artwork when Philboxing caught up with him.
?We were the dream team of Michigan boxing then, there were three of us, that was 1994 before the [1996] Olympics,? Pitts told Philboxing. But Pitts went into an art college after that while Floyd went to the Olympics and built a stellar career as a professional.
Pitts paints Pacquiao as an angel and said he is a big fan of Pacquiao. ?I really like Pacquiao because of what he does outside the ring. He is a good role model,? Pitts, who has photos of his works on Instagram at ant_the_artist, said. Pitts said he would like his Pacquiao painting autographed by the Filipino icon but missed the opportunity when he went to the Pan-Pacific Park two days ago. ?I think I should come back there tomorrow and see if I get the opportunity.?
Pitts also painted Mayweather with a gold crown portraying him as the king of boxing. ?But I don't really like Floyd that much because of all the negative things he does. He is not a good role model to the kids,? Pitts said.
Asked who he was rooting for, Pitts was non-committal other than saying that, because one boxer is a righty (Floyd) who fights a lefty (Manny), whoever positions his front foot consistently on the outside, wins the fight.
Asked whether he had the opportunity to approach Mayweather now that he is Money and boxing's No. 1 pound for pound, Pitts said ?I did. But he said he didn't know me so I left.?
