INDIANAPOLIS -- Kyle Lowry whipped a triple-double on Monday night and the Toronto Raptors scored a huge 117-98 road victory at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
The 6-foot-, 205-pound Lowry accounted for 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to help the Raptors race to a 40-27 record and seize the third place spot in the Eastern Conference over the slipping 40-28 Chicago Bulls.
Four other Raptors notched double figures in points with Lou Williams tallying 24 off the bench. DeMar DeRozan swished five triples and finished with 22 while center Jonas Valanciunas had 14 and 12 rebounds.
Leading 88-81 after three quarters, the Raptors surged ahead, 79-65, with 4:21 to go. Toronto made 39 of 82 field goals and 12 of 23 triples. The Raptors also out-rebounded the Pacers 44-32.
"This team is a great three-point shooting and they're great are drawing fouls," Pacers head coach Frank Vogel said of the Raptors, who went to the free throw stripe 27 times and knocking down 23.
The Pacers, who made 20 of 25 free throws shot just 38 of 88 field goals and missed 17 of their 19 3-point shots.
George Hill had 23 points for Indiana while Rodney Stuckey submitted 20. Roy Hibbert finished with 17 points but David West was held to just 7 points.
After winning a season-high seven straight, the Pacers have lost two in a row. But they remain in 7th place in the Eastern Conference with a 30-36 slate.
