IMPLEMENTING BLOOD TESTING NOW IS A SURRENDER TO MAYWEATHER

With the mega fight between the Filipino spitfire, Manny Pacquiao and the bad boy from Michigan, Floyd Mayweather Jr., hanging in limbo because of ridiculous and unprecedented demands from the latter, reports indicate that the NSAC will now consider implementing blood testing to screen boxers for illegal drugs.

Wow, how can a State regulatory body allow itself to be influenced much more, dictated by a cocky, foul-mouthed boxer who just happens to be good in boxing?

If NASC implements blood testing the way Mayweather demands it then it can be said that they did it to force the issue on Manny Pacquiao.

Not to ?clean? boxing as someone has stated.

Implementing ridiculous blood testing protocols demanded by Mayweather is not only unfair to Pacquiao but it is tantamount to a total surrender by NSAC to an individual boxer.

And, it?s never going to ?clean? boxing as a whole.

That to me is totally insane and should merit a change of personnel within the commission from the Chairperson down to the Executive Director.

Pacquiao never tested positive for anything. So why force the issue on him?

Why change the Nevada State rules just to force him to accept the demands of a foe who is scared to fight him anyway?

If NSAC wants to make changes to include a blood testing protocol that is well and good.

But, it should only be implemented after the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight whenever that may be. (And, along the why they should also ban the use of xylocaine before, during, and after fights.)

Only then can we believe that it was done in an effort to ?improve? boxing and not to force the issue on an individual.

Doing otherwise would be a slap on the face of Pacquiao whose only sin is that he is far better than Mayweather. It is also an insult to the whole Filipino nation who adores Pacquiao because of his talents and character.

Oh, he also never tested positive before and he passed all the tests boxing commissions in California, Nevada and Texas had previously done on him.
