Panama fighter Walter Tello fine tunes preparation at the gym of the Sheraton Hotel Shanghai ahead of his tough battle against Filipino southpaw Randy "Razor" Petalcorin for the WBA interim Jr. Flyweight (108 lbs) Title this coming Tuesday (Aug 26) at the plush Mercedes Benz Arena in Pudong, Shanghai, China

Walter Tello, an affable police officer in his native Panama, did light stretching exercises, shadow boxing, as well as some good sweat on the treadmill and worked the mitts with head coach Carlos Agrazal.

The 27-year-old Tello - currently rated as WBA #6 - ended the session in 110 lbs, two pounds over the limit of the Jr. Flyweight division, 108 bs. The official weight-in ceremony will be on Monday (Aug 25).

After the work out, Tello and his team ate and went for sightseeing around the awesome skyscrapers-filled metropolis of Shanghai, with a population 24-million the most populated city in the world.

"I feel great here in Shanghai. It's a magical city and Chinese in the streets are so friendly even though we do not understand each other. I speak to them in Spanish. They reply to me in Chinese. We try to use our hands, but is not that easy. Then we look at each other in the face and burst in laughs," said Walter Tello in his third day in China.

"This is a golden opportunity for me. Fighting Petalcorin for a world title here in Shanghai is going to be really exciting. I have prepared really good, and I'm feeling fast and strong, ready for Tuesday," concluded Walter Tello, the reigning WBC Latino Jr. Flyweight champion.
