A minor cut above the left eyebrow of superstar Manny Pacquiao forced the cancellation of his sparring session today at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.
According to GMA-7 in its early morning report, Pacquiao's trainers called the injury a "minor scratch" which measured one-and-a-half inches, and was not severe enough to threaten his April 14 bout with Mexican Jorge Solis.
Pacquiao, according to reports, vented his ire on a punching bag after it was decided he had to stop sparring for the day.
Pacquiao's trainers, meanwhile described the fighter's conditioning as about "80 percent peak form" as of today.
