SALT LAKE -- Kevin Love exploded for 37 points and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Utah Jazz going away, 121-104, Saturday night at the Energy Solutions Arena here in Salt Lake City.

With their third straight victory, the Timberwolves improved to 27-28 in the overall standings and stay within six games of the eighth and last playoffs berth in the Western Conference.
Ricky Rubio finished with 15 and seven assists for Minnesota while Corey Brewer and Chase Budinger added 13 points apiece. The Wolves made 43 of their 84 field goals (51.2 percent) and 11 of their 23 threes (47.8 percent).
Enes Kanter led the host Jazz with 25 while rookie point guard Trey Burke tallied 16 points and six assists. Gordon Howard was held to five points on 2-for-10 shooting.
The Jazz, who lost three in a row, fell to 19-36.
