Professional boxing action returns to the island of Siquijor this September 30 when unbeaten prospect Rajah Renoel Pael fights in front of his hometown fans when he battles Raul Posta of Bukidnon in the ten round main event of a fight card set at the Siquijor Capital Square.
The 22 year old Pael represents the Princesa Bulakna Resort of Maria, Siquijor and has three wins in his home island against Jessie Dignos (KO3) in 2011, Roger Echavez (KO7) and Arlon Batingal (UD10) in 2012. Pael , who has a 11W-0L-1D, 4 KO?s record, has previously held PBF titles and also ruled the flyweight division of GMA TV?s reality boxing series and tournament Buhay Boksingero in 2011.
Also set to see action are members of Team Singwangcha ? Gerpaul Valero Singwangcha, who scored a major upset against former WBC flyweight world champ Sonny Boy Jaro last August,will face Jomar Ministerio in an eight rounder.
Ardie Boyose Singwangcha will fight Jessie Tuyor, in a ten round contest, Neil Tabanao Singwangcha will fight Elmar Francisco (8 rounds), and Joey Canoy Singwangcha will face Gerald Tuyor (8 rounds).
Another Siquijor native, Bryan Samson, will fight Darius Elorde in a six rounder.
This fight card is billed as the first Congresswoman Doc Anne Pernes Cup and is promoted by RWS and Naris Singwangcha, and Rajah Silapu-lapu Promotions and sponsored by the municipal government of Siquijor.
