NBA - Knicks riding 10 game win streak into matchup with Bucks tonight

JERSEY CITY -- The New York Knicks (48-26), winners of 10 straight games, host the Milwaukee Bucks (36-38) tonight at Madison Square Garden. This is an important game for the Knicks who are only half a game ahead of the Indiana Pacers (48-27) for the overall second seed in the Eastern Conference Playoff rankings. The Pacers will be hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder in a tough matchup, so tonight's game could prove critical for the Knicks as they try to solidify their position.

Carmelo Anthony is playing at an MVP level right now, with even fans in Atlanta showering him with chants of "MVP, MVP" as he torched them for 40 points in a win over the Hawks, just one night after he scored 50 in a victory over Miami.

Tyson Chandler practiced and should be available tonight. He was key in the wins over Miami and Atlanta earlier this week. Kenyon Martin is probable for tonight's game with knee soreness, but he should be able to play at least limited minutes. The Knicks will be trying to complete a 3 game series season sweep of the Bucks tonight. This 10 game winstreak is the Knicks longest since the 1993-1994 season in which they were winners of 15 consecutive games, en-route to the 1994 NBA Finals. (RS)
