It's hands of stone versus hands of stone!
A deal has been finalized where Cebu's Randy 'Komong Bato' Suico will serve as chief sparmate and take on undefeated knockout artist and WBA super-featherweight king Edwin Valero in Japan.
Suico's manager Joe Koizumi said last week that his ward, the dynamite-fisted Suico, will serve as sparmate for the most popular Venezuelan fighter today starting in the early part of December.
Valero (20 wins, 0 loss, 20 KO's), who is promoted by Akihiko Honda's Teiken promotions, is gearing up for a titular defense, and having Suico as sparmate is expected to tremendously help him in getting used to fighters who can unload bombs inside the ring.
Early last week, Valero arrived in Japan with his family where he will be permanently based, leaving behind the chaos and instability in his country.
