Benjie Sorolla of the Marty Elorde Stable won the vacant WBO Intercontinental minimumweight title with a second-round stoppage of Thailand's Samransak Singmanassak in the main event of an 11-bout card that extended until 1:00 AM.
Jaded observers, however, were not impressed with Sorolla's performance, saying that his manager, the well-liked Marty Elorde, had better look for another talent to build up, someone who is capable of becoming a world-beater.
