Rodel Quilaton has lost by a twelve round unanimous decision in a clash for the vacant Pan Asian Boxing Association super flyweight title against Petch Sor Jong Charoen (Kokietgym) in a fight card in Chainart, a central province of Thailand which means ?Place of Victory? and it proved just that as three Thai fighters won against their Filipino opponents.
All three judges scored the fight for the No. 3 ranked Thai. Two judges scored it 116-112 while the third judge also had the Thai winning by a 115-113 margin.
With the win Petch Kokietgym improved to 11-1 with 1 knockout while the No. 12 ranked Quilaton dropped to 24-21-3 with 8 knockouts.
It was the second defeat in a row for the 27 year old Quilaton, nicknamed ?Kidlat/ Lightning? who lost by a unanimous ten round decision to Jerwin Ancajas last December 23.
Two more Filipino boxers on the undercard also lost.
28 year old light flyweight Albert Alcoy lost to 29 year old Nethrpa Sasiprapa while minimum weight Bimbo ?Sniper? Nacionales lost to veteran Pigmy Muangchaiyaphum (Kokietgym).
Sasiprapa improved his record to 29-2 with 13 knockouts while Alcoy fell to 13-13-3 with 3 knockouts.
Nacionales dropped to 11-5-1 with 2 knockouts while the 30 year old Pigmy Kokietgym improved to 47-6-2 with 21 knockouts.
