MGM GRAND, LAS VEGAS -- Timothy 'Desert Storm' Bradley (28-0-0, 12KOs) of Palm Springs, CA made mincement of the older Joel 'El Cepillo' Casamayor (38-6-1, 22KOs) of Cuba and Florida sending the 40-year-old veteran to the canvas twice before closing the show at 2:59 of the 8th round when Casamayor's corner stepped to stop the fight after the third knockdown. Bradley retained his WBO junior welterweight title.
The capacity crowd at MGM Grand Garden Arena are now all pumped up for the main event coming shortly between No. 1 pound-for-pound Manny Pacquiao and Mexican maestro Juan Manuel Marquez.
