RS Promotions informed philboxing that William Gonzalez of Panama, the opponent of Jimrex Jaca this Saturday in Tabunok, Talisay City, could not make his scheduled flight to the Philippines because of unexpected problems in his country. Rafael Sancho of RS Promotions said that Gonzalez' manager Ludo Saenz informed him of this matter.
The Saturday fight card will push through but Jaca will face another Filipino, Arnel Dunal.
The press conference and weigh-in scheduled for tomorrow Friday 11 AM at the Wine Shop in Gorordo Ave will push through.
Jaca vs Dunal will be fought at 154 lbs. Also scheduled to see action are Julius Alcos vs Tantan Ricablanca (jr.flyweights 10 rounds), Virgilio Silvano vs Erwin Pulvera (superbantamweights 8 rounds), Dodie Boy Penalosa,Jr vs Jun Morano(superbantamweights 6 rounds), Sarry Canonigo vs Roel Honor (lt.flyweight 8 rounds), Felix Soria vs Giovani Rota (jr.welterweights 6 rounds), and Jelbert Bacalso vs Junny Salogaol (flyweights 4 rounds). This card will be held at the Tabunok Sports Complex.
