Top-ranked OPBF superfly Z "The Dream" Gorres and WBO Asia-Pacific super-featherweight king Czar Amonsot fly to Los Angeles tonight where they continue their training at the Wild Card Gym for their scheduled February 3 bouts at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gorres and Amonsot took a Philippine Airlines flight from Cebu to Manila earlier, and will depart at 10 tonight on board a PAL flight PR102 for Los Angeles where they will be met at the Tom Bradley International Terminal by their manager Antonio L. Aldeguer, who owns the famed ALA Gym of Cebu.
"Yes, we will train at coach Freddie Roach's gym," confirmed Gorres a few hours ago when asked if they will also be training at Wild Card along with their stablemate Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista.
Gorres is set to trade leathers with Mexican bantamweight Samuel Lopez, while the southpaw, 20-year-old Amonsot is penciled in to trade whacks with 21-year-old Arturo Quintero.
Amonsot, most likely, is set to join the list of sparmates for pound-for-pound superstar Manny Pacquiao, who is himself preparing for a mega-buck rematch with Mexican icon Erik "El Terrible" Morales.
