If your question didn’t make it at this time, no worries, just keep your eye open for your next opportunity to submit a question for Manny to answer. I’d like to thank all the participating forum members for their questions and quick responses!
Question #1
Tootsuite, a forum member from Encinitas, California asks: After the Velazquez fight, if you win, will you be going back to the PI and do more movies, c-o-c-k derbies and non boxing promotions? Or will you rest and prepare for the Morales rematch which is just around the corner?
Manny Pacquiao: “No, after Velazquez I will continue my training in preparation for Morales rematch”.
Question #2
IronWood_Cebu, a forum member from Cebu asks: Your reaction to punches from Morales was different from punches you got from Juan Manuel Marquez and Marco Antonio Barrera, did Morales’ punches hurt more?
Manny Pacquiao: “No, Marco Antonio Barrera’s were harder punches”.
Question #3
BCngBC, a forum member from Arlington, Virginia asks: Do you feel that the gloves during the Morales fight were a legitimate issue? Not that you would have won, but just that they were an issue?
Manny Pacquiao: “They are no excuse, I just like Reyes gloves more”.
Question #4
THE MEXICAN, a forum member from Dallas, TX asks: Would you fight Morales at 135lbs, if that was the only weight he would fight at?
Manny Pacquiao: “We will fight at 130lbs”.
Question #5
pound4pound1, a forum member asks: If you beat Morales in a rematch, you’ll be the only man on the planet to have beaten both Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales; that’s a stamp for greatness. Is your hunger for that greatness still the same hunger you had before the big pay days, movies, endorsements and world wide fame?
Manny Pacquiao: “Yes! I still have the same hunger to win”.
Hope you enjoyed the first installment of Manny Q & A, see you next time!
