BRAWL IN MIS-OR AUG. 27

Mindanao will once again host world-class boxing entertainment. On August 27, 2008, at the Atrium, Limketkai Mall, Cagayan de Oro City, World Boxing Organization (WBO) Asia-Pacific Jr. welterweight Youth Champion Eusebio Baluarte Jr. (13-1-0 10KOs) will defend his title against Thailand's Teerachai Muangsurin (8-5-0 2KOs).

The power punching Junior Baluarte will again showcase his awesome punching prowess against the very durable Muangsurin. This is his first defense of the title he won last April 26, 2008, also in Cagayan de Oro, when he knocked out Yai Sithsaithong in the very first round. Baluarte is now in deep training in the highlands of Bukidnon under the watchful eye of former WBC International Bantamweight Champion Samuel Duran of the Leolet Boxing Stable.

This event dubbed as "BRAWL in Mis. Or. ...The Defense" is promoted by the Leolet Sports Promotions of businessman Leonel B. Lazarito with the full backing of Gov. Oscar Moreno and the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental.

In the main supporting bout Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) Bantamweight Champion Eric "The Maverick" Barcelona goes up against against the hard fighting Brix "Bomb" Ray for the PBF Bantamweight Championship. Included in the fight card is William "D Nigger" George against Lotlot Gaviola. The brawler George will try to impose his brawling brand of game and out punch the methodical Gaviola.

Also seeing action in this event is the promising and young southpaw, mark Anthony "El Heneral" Geraldo against the very talented Rey Villar of the ALA Boxing Gym. Geraldo will try to preserve his unblemished record of 7 wins - 0 loss, 4 KO's against the counter puncher Villar.

The rest of the card includes: Elmar Francisco vs. Jilo Merlin; Naozumi Tsuchiyama vs. Joy Trujillo; Renan Branzuela vs. Ali Belongquel; Roilo Golez vs. Rufino Tasic; Romulo Ramayan Jr. vs. Ric Martinez; Joven Maraayan Vs. Mark Laraya.
