MINIFLYWEIGHT Renden “Take Over” Oppas of Baguio City will fight Jirakrit Jarurattanachai of Thailand on August 29, Saturday at the Mercure Ballarat Hotel in Victoria, Australia.
The 25-year-old Oppas [5-1-0, 4KOs] is in Victoria together with manager Darwin Miller Depay.
Oppas recently defeated the favorite, Kha Lu of Australia last April 11 in Victoria.
Oppas has scored four wins since making a comeback last 2024.
He stopped Ne Lin Aung in the 3rd round last August 29, 2024 in Bangkok then crushed Naruenbet Konnuam in the 4th round last October 31, 2024 also in Bangkok.
Oppas knocked out Wachirawit Sanpakorn in the 2nd round last April 24, 2025 in Bangkapi.
Oppas quit boxing for one year after losing to Lorenz John Torela by a TKO in the 4th round last December 2022.
Jarurattanachai, on the other hand, is no ordinary boxer—he holds a 9-0-1 record with 8 knockouts.
He recently knocked out Suhaimee Pemisawanon in the 1st round last February 14 in Bangkok.
