IIEE Metro East dominates the 4th D’ Engineers’ Darts Cup 2026

The Philippine Technological Council (PTC) World Engineering day dart tournament was filled with excitement and full of energy at the venue Tiendesitas Pasig last March 14, 2026, drawing over 30 participants from the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) from its Metro Manila Region (MMR), the Society of Metallurgical Engineers of the Philippines (SMEP), the Institute of Electronic Engineers of the Philippine (IECEP), and PTC for a day of dart competition and camaraderie.

Engr. Rob Dionisio of IIEE Metro East chapter (MEC) ruled the Singles event with an undefeated run, defeating Mark Serafines of IIEE Metro Central in the finals, 2–0, while Orlan Bernardino of IIEE Metro East placed third. Dionisio and Bernardino also dominated the Doubles category, besting 14 teams.

Serafines and Engr. Kenneth Berguera of IIEE Metro central finished second, followed by IIEE MEC Engr. Manny Sasuman and Engr. Reagan Hernandez in third. Bernardino claimed the Bullseye King title, with Engr Serafines and Engr Dionisio as runners-up, while Engr. Joyce Ann Galang of IIEE MEC won Bullseye Queen, ahead of Engr. Candie Candelaria of IIEE MEC and Engr. Allynna Biticon of IIEE Metro South chapter (MSC).

In fun games, Jeffrey Frio of IIEE MSC topped the Most Treble event, followed by Kalod Sta. Clara of SMEP and Reneboy Lachica of IIEE MSC. Another highlight was the Father-and-Son winner Engr. Rob and Thirdy Dionisio in the Checkout 101 game. The event concluded on a high note, celebrating sportsmanship, unity, and strong fellowship among engineers and raffles as souvenir for the event bring joy to everyone.(Marlon Bernardino)
