SOUTHPAW underdog Renz “The Jaguar” Rosia scored an 8th round knockout against heavy-favorite Denmark “Tornado” Quibido last Saturday night, September 27 to win the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation super flyweight title at Barangay Pututan in Muntinlupa City.

The 37-year-old Rosia of Cadis City improved his record to 18 wins with 10 knockouts against 12 defeats and two draws while Quibido dropped to five loses against 13 wins and two draws.

Meanwhile, super featherweight Lito Badenas of Tondo, Manila stopped Pablito Canada of Pagadian in the main supporting bout.

Dante Almario promoted the boxing event.
