Filipino Olympic boxing medalist Eumir Marcial is at the center of a public controversy following accusations of infidelity and abuse from his estranged wife, Princess Marcial. Despite denying the allegations in a GMA News interview, Marcial acknowledged their troubled relationship, claiming he had been physically attacked by Princess and acted only in self-defense.
Princess has countered these statements on social media, promising legal action and asserting she holds evidence to refute her husband’s claims. The couple, married since October 2021, has reportedly been estranged since Marcial’s return from the Tokyo Olympics.
Marcial's legal counsel stated that the boxer will no longer make public statements and will address the accusations in court, maintaining his innocence.
