Filipino lightweight contender Romero “Ruthless” Duno lived up to his moniker in his comeback fight by easily disposing Ramon Elizer Esperanza in round one. The Sanman warrior battered his Paraguayan opponent from opening bell forcing the Latino fighter to quit on his stool refusing to come out in the second round.
With the win, Duno improves to W23-L2-D0. Duno is just happy to be back. “I came to make a statement and stay relevant in the rankings. My losses has taught me to be a better fighter. I need a few maybe one more fight to prepare for a possible crack at a title. I trust my manager. Sanman has always look out for my career. Thanks also to MNR Promotions and Moros gym,” Duno stated.
