For the IBF world super flyweight championship in Stockton, California Saturday, May 4 (Sunday in Manila), defending champion Jerwin Ancajas (31-1-2, 20KOs) of Cavite City, Philippines weighed in at 114.2 lbs while his challenger Ryuichi Funai (31-7-0, 20KOs) of Tokyo, Japan stepped the scales at 114.4 lbs.
Promoted by Top Rank and televised on ESPN+, the fight will be held at the 12,000 capacity Stockton Arena in downtown Stockton.
Ancajas, 27, will defend his IBF title for the 7th time since he won it from McJoe Arroyo on Sep. 3, 2016 while Funai, 33, will fight for a world title for the first time.
