MILENDO TOPS EXPLOSIVE CDO CARD

Undefeated ALA Boy Milan Milendo will get a chance to see action before his local fans for the first time as a pro when he vies for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific minimumweight title against tough-as-nails Nuapayak Sakkririn on October 6 at the Mindanao Polytechnic State College in Cagayan de Oro City.

The Puerto-raised, Cebu-based Milendo remains unbeaten in 12 fights with 3 KO's, and is out to win the title recently vacated by his stablemate Donnie Nietes who is himself vying for the WBO world title on September 30 in Cebu.

Sakkririn only has one loss in 7 fights, and should provide the kind of test for Milendo that he has been looking for in his first fight against a foreigner.

The chief support will pit Cebu-based Weng Haya against David Plana in a ten-rounder, while Elmer Colve battles Fernando Otic over eight rounds.

Local boy Jason Pagara takes on Glen Masicampo in an 8-rounder, while Mark John Yap swaps leathers with Mark Saloma also for eight.

Brian Diano goes up against Elbert Guardario over four; Alfredo Basadre battles Lito Nengasca; while Rey Genosas goes up against Danilo Siaton all for four rounds.
