LOS ANGELES (March 17, 2017) - St. Patrick's Day has arrived, and Golden Boy's very own Irishman, middleweight contender Jason "El Animal" Quigley (12-0, 10 KOs) couldn't help and show off the "luck of the Irish" in an exclusive meet and greet held for special fans who were decked out in green to show the LA transplant some love. Quigley shared tokens of history of the iconic St. Patrick's Day, and quizzed fans on their knowledge of the holiday. Notorious for being "El Animal" inside the ring, Quigley revealed his Irish charm in a fun night dedicated to the special Irish celebration.
Quigley will be facing tough opponent Glen "Jersey Boy" Tapia (23-3, 15 KOs) in one of the biggest steps in his career yet for the NABF Middleweight title, to be aired live on the inaugural edition of Golden Boy Boxing on ESPN this Thursday, March 23rd straight from Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
Quigley vs. Tapia is a 10-round battle for the vacant NABF Middleweight title presented by Golden Boy Promotions. The event is sponsored by Tecate "Born BOLD."
