CEBU CITY--Boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao has just arrived at the Rex 'Wakee' Salud gym ready for yet another day at the office, and has flatly quashed any hint of truth to rumors circulating that he is thinking of backing our from his mega-rematch with Marco Antonio Barrera on October 6.
According to Pacquiao's adviser Rex 'Wakee' Salud, the Filipino boxing icon was flabbergasted at the reports, and was wondering where those stories originated and who started those talks.
"Manny says there is no way he will back out from the fight. He said he doesn't know where that story came from. He also thanked Bob Arum for giving him the opportunities for this fight," Salud said.
Pacquiao was just warming up for his workout when Salud called up Philboxing.com.
