DUNO AND ALEXEEV MAKE WEIGHT, FIGHT IN RUSSIA FOR WBO YOUTH BELT MAY 6

?Ruthless? Romero Duno (9-0,8KO?s) of the Sanman Gym of Gen.Santos City is set for his first overseas stint when he battles Russian Mikhail Alexeev (7-0,3KO?s) at the DIVS in Ekaterinburg, Russia May 6 for the WBO Intercontinental youth superfeatherweight title.

Duno weighed in at 129.1 lbs while Alexeev stepped on the scales at 129.6 lbs during the official weigh-in held today. Manager and youngest Filipino promoter Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing of the weigh-in results.

Duno?s stablemate, Rimar Metuda, was also set to see action but his fight against another Russian, Mark Urvanov was cancelled. Manangquil stated in his e-mail that Urvanov collapsed before the weigh in due to dehydration.

The 20 year old Duno has scored stoppage wins in his last seven fights. Alexeev, also 20 years old, stopped his last two opponents.
