The World Boxing Council reports that former undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr shattered the Guinness Book of Records attendance tally during a training exhibition in Moscow.
The WBC website said that during his visit to Moscow, Mayweather ?put the icing on the cake, with the most numerous public training special ever, shattering the Guinness Book of Records previous tally.?
The WBC said ?rather than White Christmas by Bing (Crosby) this was a festive fiesta by the King of the Ring? which put a sizeable dent in the previous record, which was established in 2014 when 508 people participated in a boxing clinic at Fight Klub in England.
It said the ever ambitious Floyd went "won" better, attracting 791 people.
Floyd who retired undefeated after forty nine fights, winning WBC Championship belts in five weight categories, is still looking trim and went through his paces....no airs and graces... and encouraged some youngsters to join him up in the ring. The event was enjoyed by a crowd of more than 3,000 people.
