MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA -- ?Mayhem? started at 2:00 PM surprisingly on time and the undercards to the mammoth Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana rematch later tonight are underway.
The first fight however was not even close to mayhem. It fact it was a boring four rounder. Kevin Newman of Las Vegas who was making his pro debut met Azamat Umarzoga (0-5-2). The fight ended in a split draw with scores as follows: 39-37, 37-39 and 38-38.

The second fight was however a direct contrast. Fabian Maidana, the brother of Marcos (3-0-0, 1KO) knocked down Jared Teer (2-3-0) of Springfield, Illinois twice in round one leading to a TKO at 2:30. Referee Jay Nady waved off the fight after the second KD.

In the third fight, underdog Armando Lopes (5-3-0, 1KO) of Nogales, MX dropped previously undefeated fighter from Argentina Damian Sosa (8-1-0, 6KO) in round 2 and went on to win via unanimous decision. Scores were 57-56, 58-55 and 59-54.

The fourth fight was a battle of heavyweights. Anrew Tabiti (8-0-0, 8KO) of Las Vegas won over Caleb Grummet (3-2-, 3KO) of Lake Odessa, Michigan via a 6th round TKO. Time 51 second round 6th. (Top photo).
