SOUTHERN LEYTE ANNIVERSARY BOXING TOURNAMENT GETS UNDERWAY

The province of Southern Leyte will celebrate its 54th Founding Anniversary on July 1. Yet the activities have started including the boxing tournament which got underway Wednesday.
The bouts are held at the Provincial Capitol Sunken Garden in Maasin City. The first day tournament winners include Vincent G. Entia (22 kg.) and Louie Jay Forzado (28 kg.) all of Maasin.
Engkwentro Fights were aldo held and the winners were Vincent V. Entia of Maasin by TKO, Arielle Basco of Matalom by UD, Christian Cabil of Maasin by UD, Eddie Entia of Maasin by TKO, Shaquel Miole of Maasin by TKO, Joshua Orello of Maasin by TKO, Renemel Crisostomo of Maasin by TKO, and Daryl Ramos of Maasin by TKO.
Semifinals will commence on Thursday with entries from Leyte and other parts of So. Leyte. Other LGUs were not able to come because of the conflict with the ABAP National Boxing Chsmpionships.
